Maryville R-II School District is soliciting proposals from parties interested in providing
services for physical therapy for students. The needed contracted time may fluctuate given
the nature of student need and proficiency of the provider.
Qualifications:
1. Physical Therapy Certification
2. Professional liability insurance
3. If selected as a provider, the contractor must complete a criminal background check for
satisfactory district review.
Services:
1. Provide physical therapy, including any assessments, consultations, and planning
necessary to deliver aforementioned therapy to students.
2. Recommend appropriate materials and experiences for students with physical therapy
needs.
3. Attend meetings as needed and at the request of the district.
4. Work with Maryville R-II staff to coordinate reports, plans, and information.
5. Provide services on days, times, and locations designated by district administration
based on students’ Individualized Education Plans and follow the district calendar.
6. Maintain student records and keep information confidential as required by state and
federal law and local district policy.
